In the footsteps of Aristotle
The road trip "In the footsteps of Aristotle" is a tribute to the greatest philosopher of Antiquity and teacher of Alexander the Great. His homeland is the city of Ancient Stagira near present-day Olympiada, where important historical monuments are preserved, most notably his Tomb on a peninsula called 'Liontopi' and a view of the crystal blue waters.
But Aristotle, besides being a philosopher, was also an excellent scientist and you can easily see this with a visit to Stageira at "Aristotle's Grove", awarded as the best theme park in Greece and unique in Halkidiki. There you will see original interactive instruments that operate based on the laws of nature as he described his works.
These two areas and remarkable locations are connected by a forest with towering beech trees and lush vegetation, where if one is lucky one can encounter wild animals. Somewhere in the forest is hidden the magnificent waterfalls of Varvara which offer a unique experience, especially to those who immerse themselves in their cold but refreshing waters.
You don't need to study the Aristotelian philosophy of nature, you can simply become a part of it and enjoy it.
